UV-Curing Overprint Varnishes
We offer UV-curing overprint varnishes for paper, board and suitable plastics. UV exposure polymerises the reactive components to form the finished coating. Performance depends on the substrate, underlying ink, coating weight and UV dose. Options include gloss and matt finishes, grades for specified subsequent finishing processes, and selected low-migration or benzophenone-free formulations. Cure and adhesion are evaluated before production approval.
UV-Curing Flexo Varnishes
We offer UV varnishes formulated for flexographic application on paper, board and suitable plastics. Anilox cell volume and varnish rheology govern coating transfer and film uniformity. Selection considers viscosity, operating temperature, line speed and curing capacity. Cure, adhesion, gloss or matt appearance and rub resistance are checked against the requirements of the finished print.
UV-Curing Flexo Lamination Adhesives
We offer UV-curing adhesives for flexographic film lamination in labels and graphic arts. Target constructions include OPP/OPP, OPP/PET, OPP/paper and OPP/metallised OPP, depending on the adhesive grade. Bonding depends on surface wetting and treatment, adhesive coat weight and uniformity, nip pressure and delivery of the required UV dose to the adhesive layer. Film UV transmission and the coating, curing and lamination sequence require review, particularly for metallised films. Cure and peel strength are evaluated on the actual construction.
Screen Printing UV Varnishes
We offer screen-printing UV varnishes for paper, board and suitable plastics, including gloss and matt finishes and specialised grades for raised effects and Braille. Viscosity, mesh, stencil thickness and squeegee settings influence deposit thickness, edge definition and levelling. UV dose and line speed are matched to the coating thickness and formulation, with cure, adhesion and appearance assessed before production approval.
UV Varnish Thinners
We have a wide range of dedicated thinners for adjusting compatible UV varnishes. The thinner and addition level are selected according to product recommendations and the application method.
Product selection depends on the substrate, equipment and operating conditions. We coordinate technical evaluation and trials before approval.
